Pat LaFrieda has built a reputation for making the best hamburgers on the market. All of our chopped beef blends are made from 100% whole muscles from domestically raised beef. We never use trimmings or “pink slime” in our blends. The meat is chopped at very cold temperatures, which keeps the meat coarse and prevents it from getting overworked. Our hamburger patties, available in any size from 2oz to-8oz, are formed by a low pressure machine with a noodle textured fill system. This ensures a loosely packed patty that is juicier and more flavorful than a hand packed patty. One taste of our burgers and you will see why they are legendary.
To create this special blend of Chopped American Black Angus beef, the master butchers at Pat LaFrieda Meats control every detail of production, ensuring exceptional quality. They start with the highest-quality dry aged short rib, then they add chuck to achieve the perfect balance of flavor and texture. They carefully control the temperature of both the meat and the grinding equipment so the fat stays dense and firm. A higher percentage of short rib makes this blend slightly sweeter for that Ultimate Burger Flavor and a bit leaner, too, which can reduce flare-ups when you’re cooking on a grill.

Our Fresh Beef Is Guaranteed Fresh In Your Fridge For Two Weeks!
Since it's never been frozen, if you do not use the beef within the two week period, simply freeze it and its shelf life at that point is one year in the freezer! Our Seafood comes in 6 days a week and has a 7 day shelf life in the fridge as well as our fresh poultry which has a 7 - 10 day shelf life. If you don't use it within that time, freeze it, it will be good for up to one year!
This is my new favorite place! My husband and I stopped in the other week to check it out and they have so much great stuff!! And to make things even better, customer service was excellent. The owner Jim took the time to show us around and describe all the products he carried and patiently answered our questions. You can see clearly he takes pride in his products and the superb quality. We bought several items, I have tried the salmon I purchased and it was wonderful! Great quality and better than anywhere else I have purchased here in Fort Mill.
