Our Berkshire ground pork is from whole muscle shoulder – not trim – and offers great flavor and texture. The blend contains 20% of the famous creamy Berkshire fat and 80% lean muscle meat. What will you make with this pork? Homemade sausage patties, fragrant chili, a unique hamburger blend with beef or turkey, epic meatballs – it’s all on the table with our ground Berkshire pork. You’ll be proud to serve pork of this caliber from a small-farm cooperative committed to the strictest standards of animal care.
While it is commonly used to make patties and meatballs or stuffing in beef braciole, there are many other creative ways to use ground pork in your cooking.
For a hearty and satisfying meal, consider making a pork ragu to serve over creamy polenta or gnocchi. Or use ground pork as a base for a rich and flavorful meat sauce for pasta or rice dishes. Combine pork with diced vegetables and seasonings to make stuffed peppers or cabbage rolls.
If you're looking for something a little more adventurous, try using our ground pork as a filling for dumplings or potstickers. Mix ground pork with herbs and spices to make homemade sausage patties or links, or add it to stir-fry dishes for a savory twist. Try it in the zesty Thai salad called larb.
Ground pork can also be used as a topping for homemade pizzas, to accent your favorite vegetables and cheeses.

Our mission is to find farmers that share our vision of a more humane and sustainable way of rearing livestock. The cooperative of small family farmers that raises our Berkshire hogs is dedicated to traditional methods, allowing hogs to feed on pasture, with access to water and supplemental grain consisting of corn, soybeans and rolled oats. No pesticides, animal by-products or fishmeal are allowed. The majority of the farms are sustainable "circle farms" that raise and grind their own feed for the pigs.
Families of pigs are left together, to forage and frolic outdoors on pasture. The indoor spaces offer at least 15 square feet of space per animal, and sows are never put in gestation crates.
The cooperative is strict about banning the use of antibiotics and hormones on each farm and limiting the number of hogs the farms raise. They seek to add another farmer to the cooperative before they add more pigs to any one farm, making the process more humane for all concerned.

If we do not have it in stock, we will the following day, except Sunday. Simply let us know what you need any day of the week before we close, and we will have it ready for you the next morning!

Our Fresh Beef Is Guaranteed Fresh In Your Fridge For Two Weeks!
Since it's never been frozen, if you do not use the beef within the two week period, simply freeze it and its shelf life at that point is one year in the freezer! Our Seafood comes in 6 days a week and has a 7 day shelf life in the fridge as well as our fresh poultry which has a 7 - 10 day shelf life. If you don't use it within that time, freeze it, it will be good for up to one year!
This is my new favorite place! My husband and I stopped in the other week to check it out and they have so much great stuff!! And to make things even better, customer service was excellent. The owner Jim took the time to show us around and describe all the products he carried and patiently answered our questions. You can see clearly he takes pride in his products and the superb quality. We bought several items, I have tried the salmon I purchased and it was wonderful! Great quality and better than anywhere else I have purchased here in Fort Mill.
